What is Counselling?

Counselling is a ‘Talking Therapy’ which allows you, in a safe space, to explore and work through issues and experiences which are negatively impacting your ability to move forward healthily with your life. I will work hard to understand your feelings and experiences as we work together and to help you feel better.

As Human Beings we have an inner desire to be the best that we can be, striving for acceptance but sometimes we lose our way. This is when Counselling can help.

As we work together our aim will be to set the right conditions in order that you can you once again feel more self-accepting, confident, freer and with a greater sense of overall well-being.

What is Counselling for?

Life is not always a bed of roses and there are times in our lives when our circumstances leave us wondering which way to turn. When something happens suddenly and unexpectedly we can be left doubting our ability to cope.

You might not want your family and friends to know that you feel vulnerable because you feel scared of not being understood and then rejected.

At these times of change it may help to talk to someone who not part of your close family and friends circle, who won’t be affected by your choices but who will accept you exactly as you are.
